Dear Sir/Madam,
I have over 17 years or real work experience in Engineering and Technology. Engineering and Technology are studies derived from knowledge in math and science, which are very important in many aspects of life today. Over the years, I have studied, worked, experimented, and demonstrated my knowledge in Engineering/Analysis, Design, Graphic Arts, Computer Programming, Math, Physics, and General Computing.
I graduated in 1995 from the University of Houston, with a major in Mechanical Engineering Technology, where I used AutoCAD and Microstation to do mechanical design of parts and assemblies. I also studied many engineering courses, related to mechanics, fluids, heat, amongst others. I also minored in Computer Engineering Technology.
I have nine (9) years of experience instructing/teaching at the Community College level. I enjoy seeing people learn: a skill that you have naturally or developed from another person's teaching. But, "proper" teaching is an art. With that said, I find great reward in using my knowledge to uplift others to the next level. That is why I decided to become an instructor at the Community College. I always tell the students at the start of class: "you may not learn everything, but you will learn something". There's nothing better than when you teach someone something and their eyes open up, like: "I got it!"
As they say: "instead of giving man a fish, teach him how to fish". Therefore, I want to provide you with "direction". I look forward to tutoring you.
Thank You.
