I am a career Healthcare Professional with teaching and tutoring experience.

I have over 25 years' experience in healthcare, mostly in laboratory medicine. I am extremely knowledgeable in biology, math and science. In addition to my Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Houston, I have 2 Post Baccalaureate Certificates from U. of Texas School of Allied Health and U.T.M.D. Anderson Hospital.

I have taught two years in H.I.S.D. in Biology, Science and Math. I am a licensed Life Insurance Agent, and in my spare time I am a leader in a local Boy Scouts organization.

My tutoring method is to: 1.) Assess; 2.) Teach; 3.) Reassess; and 4.) Reteach as necessary. It is critical that the initial assessment determines the precise deficit(s) which causes a student to perform in a manner less than acceptable.

Thereafter, we can hone in on a particular subject, dissecting each component of a subject one step at a time. The speed at which a student grasps each individual component will determine the speed at which the entire subject matter will be mastered.
