Hello. I am interested in working with you and your child to help enhance their current learning experience. My background is primarily in special education, as I have 23 years experience in this field. I have worked in a variety of special needs classrooms - from 2nd-8th grade - including Resource, Inclusion, Content Mastery, Self Contained, E.M.R. and Life Skills. My students have included those with intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and those on the Autism spectrum. As well as my special education experience, I also have 5 years experience in general education - including 5th-8th grade social studies, language arts, science, and math; plus 1/2 year in 1st grade. Oops, I almost forgot my 3 years of substitute teaching when my own children were young.
