I am a mother of 2, currently in my junior year of college as an English Communications/ Literature major heading for a career as an elementary teacher. While my proficiency is in Language Arts, I am also confident in my ability to successfully improve the study habits of students with ADD/ ADHD as I was diagnosed at age twelve. I have developed methods for success in studying as well as simply dealing with daily activities. In addition to being an ADHD student, I am an ADHD parent as well and fully understand the anxiety associated with the desire to see one's child succeed academically and socially.
Every student must find his or her niche. As once stated by Albert Einstein, "Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its entire life believing it is stupid."
