Experienced Spanish translator and math enthusiast

I have eight years of experience translating to and from Spanish including legal documents, materials, and live interpretation for various events. I took three years of honors Spanish in high school and have since improved my Spanish skills by living, working, and conversing in 100% Spanish environments. At my previous employment, I taught ESL, translated materials and press releases for 13 states, and often tutored elementary, middle school, and high school students in math, English, science, and more. I love math and Spanish with a passion. On my high school SAT, I scored 1400 and had a GPA of 3.84. If I don't know the answer right away to a math problem, I research it quickly and learn it on-the-spot in order to teach it to youth. I am also a mother of two elementary students. I look forward to making a positive impact in the education of many youth in Midlothian.
