I have a doctorate degree in Child & Youth Studies and Human Services Administration. My last employment was as a Director of Lifelong Learning Community & Continuing Education at an Arizona Community College. I have instructed and tutored students, children, adults and families in ESL, ESOL, math, pre-algebra, basic geometry, and writing skills.
I have worked with very diverse groups of students in several geographical areas within the United States in adult and higher education as administrator, instructor, recruiter, and counselor. I have helped hundreds of students obtain their GED equivalent diplomas in private and public sectors. I have been a certified K-12 principal in three states (Arizona, Tennessee and Florida) and a master adult education supervisor and teacher for 10+ years.
I was a certified K-8 math instructor in the state of Tennessee. I have a lifetime teaching certificate for a community college district in Arizona. I have extensive supplemental teaching materials and successful approaches gained through years of proven instructional techniques and experience and feedback from students. Successful completion of my doctoral dissertation process via university committee is proof of my high-level writing skills.
My main philosophy of education is based on a sincere perspective that learning is a lifelong process for all.
