Hard Of Hearing
I am very patient with students that are hard at hearing and/or need more detailed instruction and help with their classes.
I have worked with a student in the past who had difficulty hearing and I emphasized a system that allowed the student to utilize her other senses (such as sight and touch) to compensate for her deficiency in hearing.
I focus on illustrating the material more visually versus speaking through the material. I also created a system to where the student could show me where and what they were not understanding.
