I am Mohammad. I have been living in Garland, TX 75043, since November 2008 as a permanent resident. I received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1977. Recently I earned two Associate degrees named Electronics/Computer Technology and Mechatronics Technology from Eastfield Community College, Mesquite, TX 75150.
I have been working at Walmart stores, Inc. since Feb, 2009. I have a lot of experience in math tutoring up to 12th grade. I know how to explain math concepts in ways that students can understand. I also know how to explain course materials in different ways. Moreover, I have the patience to revise and practice topics and know how to test students' understanding along the way.
I have the ability to create sympathy and mutual attitude with children as well as young people. I am a personable man and know how to approach the issues in a positive way. I also provide positive feedback and create an environment where it is safe to make mistakes. Moreover, I am a wise and faithful adviser for the students. That is why parents find me as a good math tutor and support me.
I guide the students through the problem-solving process by using good questioning/answering techniques. When they face any difficulties, I would not take over and complete the problem. In order for them to understand the steps and learn how to find the solutions, they must pay attention to each step as they work through problem-solving process with as much independence as they can.
My primary purpose is not to view the learners' tutoring session as a time to complete homework. I always help them with real understanding of math, and that may or may not include completing homework.
I always take a break and encourage my students to rest before they become out of mind. It is allowed for them who can chat with me about other topics of their lives for a few minutes. I usually take a break every forty minutes.
I am able to explain a notion and make over ideas merely and distinctly. I always prepare myself before tutoring session. I also make an effort to learn about their background which helps me to find out their needs and difficulties.
I always ask students questions from time to time to test their understanding as well as collect feedback from them. Through their feedback, I experience approachability, friendliness, and patience. In addition, I compete to be interesting, funny, lively, cheerful, confident, and straightforward with them.
