I am a well educated professional, and have tutoring and substitute teaching experience with the Fort Worth ISD system.
I have earned degrees Chemistry, Biology - Biochemistry from TCU, a MBA in Financed & Business Management from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
My basic concept for achieving success in teaching/tutoring is to identify the core subject matter problem/s, in agreement with both the student and parents, as the basis for requesting professional tutoring in the subject matter areas of my educational expertise, and concentrating on that problem/s. Concentrating on the particular learning problem
or weakness with the student's 100% attention will achieve the level of proficiency needed by the student.
I prefer a one-on-one teaching/tutoring environment wherein the student with maximum concentration will gain the skills and knowledge sought from the teaching/tutoring sessions which have been specifically designed to resolve the learning issue/s.
Student's questions are always welcomed and expected, as questions to be asked are never "dumb" as some students so aptly state.
I would welcome the opportunity to work with any student needing to improve their classroom test performance and hopefully realize a significant improvement in the working knowledge of the subject and in the final test grades achieved by the student.
