My first college degree was obtained in 1983 from the University of Wyoming where I got a bachelor's degree with a major in psychology and a minor in math and natural sciences. My GPA at the University of Wyoming was 3.64. I graduated from the University of Phoenix on 12/20/2010 with a master's in psychology. My GPA was 3.74. I also have an associate's degree in nursing from the Community College of Denver where my GPA was 3.94, and where I was co-valedictorian of my nursing class. I am also an excellent all-around athlete, and I had a basketball scholarship at the University of Wyoming. Nowadays, I am a 55 year-old ex-nurse looking to start a new career in which I can utilize all of my degrees/knowledge to help others learn. I did have to give up my nursing career because of a disability, but this problem does not effect my ability to teach or learn. It did effect my stellar credit rating, though, because I made good money as a nurse and since then I have been struggling to get by. Nonetheless, I am very intelligent, creative, personable, dependable, and honest. I am a Christian who attends church regularly, and I am definitely a person of good character. I have always done well in school, and I believe that I can help anyone learn the subjects that I know via patience, understanding, and hard work on both our parts. I have one tutoring job already, and I usually get high rankings for my work. The only time I got a low ranking was when I didn't do all the work for that particular student because that is not how tutoring works. At any rate, I think you will find me to be a great tutoring resource for any student from elementary school to graduate college students. I greatly look forward to the opportunity to help others learn.
