I am a native Chinese speaker with years of teaching experience, both Chinese and English. I have a B.A. in English Literature Education and a M.A. in applied linguistics. I have taught college English 10 years in China, and I also taught Chinese 2 year in an international school.I have been tutoring Chinese to American kids and adults during my teaching years.
I believe that we should have fun while learning. Therefore, games, rhymes, songs and flash cards are just a few activities I’d like to use with the students. Certainly, learning a language is experiencing a culture,too. As a mom of two little children, I completely understand what it takes to achieve the most when teaching kids, especially a language, because my kids are fluent in Chinese and English. As a teacher, I will tailor my lessons to your learning styles and individual needs.
