During my seven-plus years of teaching private and public school students, my teaching/coaching strategies and interpersonal skills have enabled pupils to achieve to their potential.
For example, my students have overcome their dislike of writing to become effective written communicators. In addition, those students who claim to detest poetry, reading and/or analyzing literature have become stars when they are asked to address the class during those exciting activities.
I also have the ability to make grammar an exciting challenge that can (and will) be championed. Imagine that, making grammar a fun-filled activity.
My students always do well -- that's why I've dubbed myself the Tutor of Champions, as a tribute to my fantastic pupils.
My experience includes teaching English III at Plano West Senior High in Plano, Texas (a suburb of Dallas), as well as grammar, writing, and literature at All Saints Catholic School in Dallas. I also have numerous successful substitute experiences in both the Plano and Frisco Independent School Districts.
