DEVELOP A TRUE UNDERSTANDING OF MATH BY LEARNING THE OBJECTIVES AND REAL-LIFE APPLICATIONS (college-level).
Hello Student and/or Parents,
I'm a home school educator specializing in math, science and writing. Professionally, I am a private educator, K-12/college tutor, engineering graduate, and I.T. professional. My students find my presentation, style and methodology in tutoring to be quite simple and straight-forward. Students need a fun or at least interesting way to master the basic fundamentals so that they never forget. I use simple, easy, and quick to remember methods, formulas and acronyms so that my students retain information and know when to use it. I present in a systematic format, using repetition of the information, exceptional practice, demonstration by the student, and lots of patience and encouragement. I provide examples that they can keep and slideshows they can view over and over again.
I typically spend 3 hours per student for every one hour of tutoring time in preparation and post-support and communication. I use a variety of methods depending on the student's needs. We all can learn if information is kept simple and interesting. I hope you feel confident in my words and will entrust your student's success and future to me. I do not take it lightly and I would be committed to your student's success. Math is my most sought after skill and I also specialize in entrance exam prep for college entrance and military acceptance. I am equally successful in various other subjects, such as reading
, writing, and sciences. Sessions can be online or in-person, day or evening, 8am - 10pm. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your or your child's goals.
p.s. - TUTORING CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW POLICY:
Tutoring can be terminated after two "no-shows", repeated cancellations, or lack of participation upon scheduling.
FYI - The time that is scheduled for students is an agreement by the parent, guardian, or entity to purchase that time when scheduled and will still be responsible for that time if scheduled. Cancellations do not terminate the agreement as this time is already scheduled for the student and cannot be rescheduled. Thank you for understanding.

I have a student who has really begun to understand math and has mastered much of Algebra I since we began tutoring. About 2 weeks ago, the student had a midterm whereby the teacher placed both 7th and 8th grade tests, side-by-side on a table for students
to pick up. My student inadvertently picked up the wrong test and it was 40 minutes into the test before the error was discovered leaving...
I had one opportunity to tutor with Jason on a course he is taking that is very new to Texas public schools. As a matter of fact, the concept of Math Models with Geometric Application was developed at the University of Texas at Austin only a couple of years
ago. It is a math that focuses on the applications of math to financial, business and statistical uses, among others. Traditionally, we...
Two of my senior math students have worked for the last 3 weeks to prepare for the S.A.T. When students have struggled so tremendously on S.A.T. Math, they sometimes get discouraged. However, for the last 3 weeks, we have worked on algebraic fundamentals,
key rules and principles, a variety of problem types, and S.A.T. practice questions. They worked very hard, did not get everything, but I...
