Thanks for your interest in my Chinese Teaching Program. First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Beijun Xu, I was born and grew up in Shanghai China, and graduate from Fudan University, College of International Relations. And I was teaching basic English in that college for about eight years. In 1990, I received a scholarship from University of Houston-Connel Hilton Hotel and Restaurant Management Graduate program and came to America to study for three years. Then I worked for General Meal's as a restaurant manager for three years. Now I am working at the Kingwood Post Office as a mail carrier. Honestly, I really love living in Kingwood, it's clean, quiet and a beautiful environment with nice, friendly people.
China now is the greatest economic growth zone in history and it's already the second largest economy in the world, accounting for 7.6% of the world's total economic activity. China surpassed Japan in 2010. From January 19-21, 2011, Chinese President Hu Qintao visited America and met American President Obama, and according to both their speeches, America and China will exchange students from each country. United States and China will cooperate on many issues. China also announced a series of commercial deals to purchase $45 billion in US. The White House said the deal will support 235,000 jobs in the United States. In order to help young people in America understand the dynamics, demographics and culture of China, I would like to spend my spare time teaching them Chinese. Maybe some time, I will also gladly be a translator and guide for you while travel to China.
Thank you again for your interesting!
