My love for teaching was recognized and appreciated early in my life. It all started 3 years before graduation from high school. In school and around the city my reputation to have mastered languages, such as French, Latin and Greek spread quickly. Come summertime, parents did not hesitate to hire me as tutor to help their children improve in those languages.
Later on, to finance my college studies, I was hired to teach those languages at the high school level of the same institution. And all students enjoyed my teaching method. My teaching method, which fostered my students learning abilities consisted of:
1) Clear presentation of the lessons
2) Allowing students to ask questions
3) Homework
4) Test and quiz for application and understanding
5) Group studies and role play to help slow learners
I pursued my graduate studies at Andrews University in Michigan, where I got a MA degree in school curriculum and supervision. I went back home to work as College professor, Academic Dean to later become president of the same institution. Then I prepared another degree in health education at Loma Linda University in California. I taught ESOL, French and Health Education in Florida. Finally, I furthered my education with a Master's and a Doctorate degree in psychology at California Coast University in California.
Presently I am retired and still have the burning passion for teaching. As an experienced Tutor and Teacher I am available to help young students learn, assimilate, and manage French, Latin and Greek languages that are considered as great challenges for many students.
