I have 2 years teaching Chinese PinYin which is the Romanization of the Chinese “written sound”, Romanization approximates mandarin pronunciation with Western spellings and includes a tone mark to signify the pitch of a word. Students being able to read/write in PinYin will build solid foundation for further Chinese studying. Student will be fluency in PinYin and tones, be able to complete basic daily life conversations.
I have 2 years teaching 2nd grade Chinese in speaking, reading and writing by using textbook.
By this level, students will master a vocabulary of 100-200 words and over 30 sentences patterns. Some studying materials are based on daily life, for example: telling Chinese number and time, ordering food & drinks in restaurants, greeting etc.
Currently, I'm teaching 5th grade Chinese in speaking, reading and writing by using textbook.
By this level, students will master a vocabulary of 500-600 words and over 60 sentences patterns to write short essays.
Learning language with real-life topics enable students to plunge into the experience of Chinese culture. Learning more basic Chinese grammars and structures and improving conversational abilities.
