I am currently working on my master's degree in bilingual education with Texas A&M. I have dual Bachelor of Science degrees, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000. I am certified by the state of Texas to teach classes in English, language arts and reading. Additionally, I have traveled to and lived in Central America while attending the University of Costa Rica.
I have experience tutoring children as young as six years old up to adults in their 50s. Aside from working in the Dallas ISD, I have also worked as a substitute teacher for Katy ISD, in multiple subjects in elementary, middle and high school students. I have also worked as a substitute teacher for other private schools in the Dallas areas.
Aside from being recognized as highly qualified in English, language arts, and reading, I have experience teaching swimming and basketball.
During our first meeting, for which there is no charge, I prefer to meet with you and/or your child face-to-face to create a goal-oriented action plan to ensure we're working together to accomplish the results you want and to uncover any additional challenges we may discover.
Thank you for your time and consideration, I look forward to helping you achieve success!
