Dear Parents and Students:
"To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for, where you want to go and why you want to get there." This quote is from the Nobel Peace Prize winner Kofi Annan, who founded the Global AIDS and Health fund for developing countries.
After graduating from the university I knew I wanted to teach because teaching is one area where my impact can have the most far-reaching effect. A teacher is in a position to inspire students to be all that they can be. I can envision myself as a tutor helping to unlock the hidden potential of any and all students. I personally believe that all students can learn and succeed if the instructor is determined and persistent in his or her efforts to find that one spark that all students need to ignite their genuine thirst for knowledge.
As a native of a foreign country and having worked with those who come abroad, it is such a rewarding experience to help someone achieve their goals and that is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Being well educated is crucial and being multi-cultural is so important nowadays and joining this team of teacher/tutor will allow me to work with eager students of diverse backgrounds and skills.
I look forward to working in a team environment where I can share ideas and knowledge with the existing faculty and staff. I will utilize my technical expertise to increase the students’ understanding and use of computer technology working in the Business Studies Division at Brookhaven College. I will be coming to Brookhaven College as a representative of my country and as an open-minded educator who wants to learn as well as teach.
My master degree is in information technology and computer programming. My work experience includes a number of years working in various businesses and industries. I was a graduate teaching assistant in computer science during my post graduated studies as well as an IT vocational teacher and a mathematics tutor. My experience includes; business analysis, operations and process reengineering, software development life cycle, and corporate finance budget forecasting and planning.
As an IT architect, I have implemented new and improved software information systems and implemented new networking strategies and hardware. I also excel in aligning technology with business goals. As a team leader and team player, I have the willingness and capability of quickly learning from people and transferring competencies to others.

L’enseignement a toujours été pour moi bien plus qu’une simple transmission de savoirs. C’est un échange, un partage, une quête que des individus entreprennent ensemble et qui à chaque fois nous mène plus loin, nous fait grandir, nous transforme.
C’est en ayant en tête cette vision de l’éducation que j’ai débuté ma carrière d’enseignante en tant que répétiteur au sein des lycées depuis le début de mes études universitaires. j’ai ensuite choisi de me joindre des 1995 a des structures académiques mieux organisées afin de pouvoir vivre ma passion en marge de ma carrière d’informaticien. J’ai alors découvert non pas de simples institutions scolaires, mais des milieux et des styles de vie.
Etant moi-même le père de trois jeunes enfants d’âge scolaire, je crois ne pas me tromper en disant que ce que nous souhaitons pour eux c’est qu’ils évoluent avec des personnes dans des environnements sains et équilibrés ou ils seront heureux et grâce auquel ils pourront devenir des êtres humains responsables et accomplis dans chacune des facettes de leur personnalité. C’est ce qui fait que pendant mes heures d’enseignement, je vise deux objectifs : apprendre et surtout apprendre a apprendre, c’est ainsi que je cherche a développer chez mes élèves le savoir, le savoir-faire, le savoir-être et l’autonomie. Ce type d’enseignement est possible grâce à ma capacité à créer un climat de classe respectueux et propice a l’apprentissage.
En tant qu’un professionnel passionné par l’enseignement, c’est un bonheur de pouvoir vivre une expérience stimulante à travers laquelle je me réalise pleinement. Pour ce qui est de votre enfant (ou vous-même), je pense sincèrement que c’est une chance incroyable que vous lui\vous offrez en lui\vous permettant de fréquenter une personne qui lui\vous donne véritablement l’occasion de développer son\votre plein potentiel : mes expériences antérieures étant des atouts importants pour la réussite de tous.
