Hi Everybody,

First off, thanks for reading my profile. I appreciate it!

Second, let me tell you a little bit about myself. The picture is from a trip to see my brother in Wasilla Alaska. Right now, I live in Arlington Texas and I am a part-time math PhD student at UTA - The University of Texas at Arlington. I have a master's degree in math, and 2 bachelor's degrees; one in math, and the other in history.

Third, I have taught math for over 5 years at the university level. Additionally, I have tutored almost every undergraduate mathematics subject. This would include all of the following; algebra, calculus, differential equations, statistics, probability, logic, discrete math, math for teachers, biostatistics, complex analysis, topology, and real analysis. I also taught English in Vietnam.

Finally, I have extensive experience with online tutoring. Over the years, I have used a wide variety of tools to facilitate online learning. These tools include; Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Paltalk, VOIP, Google Voice, Google Docs, and other tools.

Differential Equations

I actually use and study differential equations on a daily basis in my on going course work at the University of Texas at Arlington. I am very familiar with, and actually use, the various software packages for computing direction fields, and phase planes of systems of differential equations. Biostatistics

I have worked as a biostatistician at the University of Washington Medical School and Baylor University Medical School. Additionally, I am an author on research papers in this field. One of the projects, I worked on was for Bayer Aspirin company. They developed a drug called Cerivastatin, which was designed to reduce cholesterol levels in the bloodstream, and also actually reduce plague buildup in the arteries.
