I am currently an AP instructor for Calculus and other high level mathematics at a regional high school. I have a passion for mathematics and science and believe any willing student is capable of succeeding in advanced math and science courses. There is no short cut to achieving high competencies in advanced course work. I believe guided instruction followed by repetition is the tried and true method to success of my students.

Prior to teaching, I spent 25 years with a the high technology company, Texas Instruments developing customized integrated circuits for cars, cell phones and computers.

I have a BS in Electrical Engineering and Certified "Highly Qualified" in secondary school mathematics with the TEA.
