Mathematics was (and still is) my forte or, at least, my favorite subject since middle school. I have chosen it as my undergraduate degree and pursued both Master of Science and Doctorate degrees in higher math. I enjoy applying my education and research work to either helping other students or researchers as well as seeing it applied in various roles in non-academic fields/positions. If it is useful, I can communicate in a second language with a third competency of basic or conversational Spanish as well. My research area was mainly in functional analysis with specialization in spectral theory of ODE. If anyone wants topics for his thesis or research, I can be of some assistance. Nevertheless, I am willing and able to teach or tutor in levels lower than college or graduate school like for instance Basic Algebra and Geometry.

Finally, although my Master's degree is concentrated in Math, I did specialize in Operations Research and Mathematical Programming.

I am quite flexible and rather patient with my students, but a certain amount of patience and indulgence isn't uncalled for the other way, if the subject matter is initially a bit of a recall effort on my part. As with most math problems and questions, it is the build up towards understanding the parameters and scope of such that takes a bit of time, but once memory and effort are applied, the fruits of any investigation or learning do come in rather quick succession upon "harvest", so to speak.

I may often modify the start time of any tutoring session if it takes me a bit of time to get up to speed on a topic or assigned area of study. Like I said, patience is key to learning math or stat, in addition to practice.

Although my college degrees are in Mathematics including a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Math, I have taught an actuarial science course at a national university in southeast asia in 2012. My specialization is in pure mathematics and spectral theory, but I have taken courses and tutored plus taught some actuarial science courses at the tertiary or college levels. I may be "rusty" on some later topics in Actuarial Theory and methods, however, with a little lead time, I should come up to speed with solving problem sets or assist in preparing for tests/quizzes on this subject matter.

Algebra was my favorite class in high school, and I continue teaching and tutoring in this subject in Houston and surrounding areas.

My college degrees are all in mathematics starting with Bachelor then Master of Science and finally a PhD in Mathematics. I have taught Elementary Differential Equations at a university overseas, but not anywhere recently. My dissertation work used a lot of differential equation theory and methods and I have tutored Differential Equations both in a Mathematics Lab setting as well as individually a few times.

My college degrees are all in mathematics starting with Bachelor of Science then Master of Science and ultimately a PhD in Mathematics. I have learned Discrete Math as well as taught this course in universities and colleges both here in Texas as well as in a national university abroad. I have tutored Discrete Mathematics to both students in Houston as well as individually as a private tutor around the greater Houston area.

My college degrees are all in mathematics starting with Bachelor of Science then Master of Science and ultimately a PhD in Mathematics. In the first two degrees: BS and MS, I specialized in Operations Research and Mathematical Programming, respectively. I also had electives in Econometrics and Industrial Engineering. Though my forte is in functional analysis and pure math, I enjoy the applied areas of Math'l Programming/Modelling and Econometrics/OR.

My college degrees are all in mathematics starting with Bachelor then Master of Science and finally a PhD also in Mathematics. I have taught Linear Algebra as a substitute instructor at a community college, although not recently. My research work involves proofs utilizing linear algebraic methods plus I have tutored Linear Algebra for a couple of University of Houston students albeit some time ago.

I studied formal logic in my undergraduate degree program during my first two years of university studies. I have also used the techniques and methods of classical and contemporary logic while both as a student in my college years as well as in my research work in Mathematics as a regular faculty member of my alma mater tertiary institution.

My college degrees are all in mathematics starting with Bachelor of Science then Master of Science and finally a PhD. I have learned statistics as well as taught this course in a few educational institutions both here in Texas as well as at a national university in Asia. I have tutored Statistics in Houston and suburbs as well as at Lamar University in Beaumont both as a college/university faculty member as well as a private tutor for a tutoring chain/company.

I have tutored a few times for students preparing for the TAAS and later on, the TAKS test. This was either as a private tutor for one-on-one tutoring with students referred via an online tutoring service, or through a franchised tutoring company location in the Houston area. My specialty is in the Mathematics portion of said state administered assessment.
