In college, I earned a Certificate in Economics that was comprised of 15 hours of coursework. (Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, The Global Economy & Sustainable Development, Urban & Regional Economics, African-American Entrepreneurship).
I have written extensively in an academic setting-original research papers, literature reviews, persuasive essays, expository essays and legal analysis. I also write poems and short stories in my free time. On the SAT I scored 770 Reading, 800 Writing.

I have been called on to do lots of public speaking in my life through my involvement in my church youth group, high school extracurriculars, sorority, and other leadership activities. In law school, I took classes that required simulations in advocacy skills such as opening & closing arguments, negotiations, and mediation. I have also represented clients in court under the Third Year Practice Act.
