** 11 years of teaching experience.
** Proficient in technology-based labs and experiments.
** Efficient in explaining difficult concepts in the simplest method possible.
** Currently teaching AP, preAP and traditional physics in high school. Teaching three levels of physics on a given day, daily, is an example of the type of differentiation that will be applied based on the needs of the student.

If you are a student enrolled in a course or preparing for a competitive test, you might need the assistance from experienced teachers who had taught for several years, because teaching techniques improve over years. I enjoy teaching students. Every year my lesson plans are different and my style of teaching is also different (improved). I am a techno-savvy person too, like most of my students. I use my Galaxy Note to connect to the Smartboard, which enables me to move around the class and allow students to efficiently think and contribute to the discussion. Several of my shy students benefit from this in that they don't have to feel embarrassed to go to the board. I believe that students learn better if they make the learning their own. I allow my students to use their laptops, notepads, & IPhones to connect to online resources while they are in the class. They also use their Smartphones and a video analysis software to do physics labs. Such methods improve lab results and reduce the human error factor by a large percentage. Most of my labs involve electronic probes, lasers and other data-collection devices. I also teach them how those can be done in the old-school method. This gives my students a better understanding on the concepts and also on the techniques.
I am not trying to advertise myself as the miracle teacher who can make you an A+ student overnight. What I have to offer is my knowledge and experience in teaching a wide variety of students from different countries and grade levels - from 9th grade to College Sophomores. I've taught at the University, Junior Colleges and high schools. I can try to make you understand difficult concepts in a very simple and easy to understand format and maybe teach you few techniques that I picked up over the years so you can remember those concepts very well. I have taken several competitive tests on different subjects. Being an A+ student in a subject does not guarantee that you will perform very well on a competitive test, unless you know the techniques on how to efficiently manage your time and how to answer questions faster & correctly (many tests punish you for choosing an answer incorrectly). I can teach you techniques that I learned from others and ones that I developed myself.
If you choose me as a tutor, I'd ask your 100% dedication as well. Because, without your commitment to achieve the goal, my efforts will be meaningless & you'll be wasting your time and money. Hope to see you soon for a tutoring session. Good luck for your future.
