My name is Paul. I have lived and studied overseas for four years, speak Spanish and Italian fluently, and graduated Magna cum Laude in Philosophy from Italy. I very much enjoyed the two years I spent in Rome (speaking very little English while I was there), and took advantage to fill out the liberal arts degree I got in Connecticut visiting the works of art and historical sites in the area, becoming trained as a tour guide for some sites.
I have a love for studies and languages. In my travels, I have often had to teach others how to speak English or help out with Spanish or Italian. I lived as a seminarian in a Catholic Seminary during my time abroad, in which there were over 24 nationalities. Thanks to this contact with others who didn't always speak my language or sometimes even finding a common language was difficult, I know that I can teach with patience and build on the knowledge that someone already has.
My studies have been intense in Language, Art History, World History, Classical Literature, Religion, Philosophy and Public Speaking. I achieved a 4.0 in College Euclidean Geometry.
I worked as a mentor to middle school boys in a Catholic School in Spring, TX for over a year and am aware of US Diocese's child protection systems and have been cleared and worked in them in Houston, TX.
