Hi, I'm Jonathan, and I teach math and digital media production. I love working one-on-one with individuals and explaining how things work. I am a technology geek, which is why I love things like math, strategy games, computers, and digital arts. I am a visual person, so I try to explain things hands-on as often as possible, or by using written illustrations in my coaching style. I graduated from Lone Star College in December 2012 with an Associate of Arts General Education degree, and I will be transferring to Regent University in the Fall of 2013.

Chess

I have been playing chess since I was about five or six years old. I have been part of different chess clubs over the years and have even been in a college chess tournament, where I scored 3rd place. I will teach the beginning level chess player the basics of the game: how the pieces move and interact, basic strategies, and even a little history of the game.
