Hello! Currently, I am working as a 5th grade teacher, but I have taught from pre-k to high school students. As part of my internship classes and work experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of students. These rewarding experiences have sharpened my desire to continue in this field and helped me develop the tools I need to be an effective teacher, mentor, and tutor. I have a very practical and hands on approach to my tutoring methods, which makes learning easier and more fun for students. I've also spent time teaching in programs which promote a standard of educating our students with a "No Excuses" attitude. This environment has further strengthened my interest in educating today’s youth.
My work experience as a department and grade level chairperson, as well as my experience working with different schools, has provided me with a strong base of communication knowledge and helped me learn how to develop and work on several projects at once, work quickly and efficiently, and further developed my interest in becoming a better educator and tutor.
