Hello Everyone,
My name is Brent and I am a law school graduate and licensed attorney.
I graduated from South Texas College of Law with my Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in December 2011 and I passed the February 2012 Texas Bar Exam. I was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in May 2012. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University at Galveston with a Bachelor's of Science in Maritime Administration in May 2008.
As a law school survivor, I know how difficult law school is and how challenging it is to become a lawyer. Currently, I am available to provide guidance in overcoming the three major hurdles of becoming a lawyer: getting into law school, surviving law school, and passing the bar exam. If you are applying to law schools, I am able to provide admissions counseling services. For example, I can review your law school applications and admissions essays and provide feedback on how to make them stronger. If you do not already have an application or admissions essay completed, I can work with you one-on-one to help you develop your law school applications and admissions essays to make you as competitive as possible. I can also provide you with an insider's perspective on what to expect during law school, as well as survival tips for surviving the grueling first year of law school. If you are in law school and/or planning to take the Texas Bar Exam, I can provide guidance on what to expect from the bar exam, as well as advice on how to study. Or, if you are in law school and simply want advice on studying and preparing for classes, I can provide that too.
I survived law school and so can you. I look forward to working with you and helping you to achieve your dream of becoming a lawyer.
