My name is Hilary! I am so excited to start sharing my knowledge!
In 2008 I graduated from Faith Christian High School in Arvada, Colorado. After graduation, I moved to Texas to attend college. I graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I was one class short of receiving a minor in genetics, but chose to not receive that in order to graduate on time and be able to enroll in graduate school. I am currently enrolled at the University of Houston pursuing a master of science in Biomedical Engineering, with a concentration in Genomics, Proteomics, and Bionano-Engineering. My future plans involve working in the Biomedical Engineering Industry.
I tutored 7-8th science for the Fall 2012 semester, where I found the joy of sharing my knowledge with others. I have also tutored many undergraduates and fellow graduate students, both of which did not have the necessary level of understanding of biological sciences. I have tutored both individuals as well as groups of students. I am very comfortable making presentations on science.
It has been by understanding that every student learns, and more importantly, understands in their own way. I personally understand best from starting from the very basics and working my way up, slowly, to the more difficult to understand aspects. I look forward to discovering what your learning method is!
I am so excited to meet you and begin to share my knowledge!
