I am happy to report that the most difficulty experienced in the process of obtaining a tutor has been my own procrastination and worry - Once I was able to make a decision and reach out to Ming for assistance - everything seemed to change. It was as if my ability or lack of when it comes to helping my daughter with the challenges she faces in Algebra II - vanished after the first communication with Ming which happened to be late one night since that was the only time in my hectic schedule that allowed me to actually stop and research these options. Ming was very accommodating, understanding, and encouraging. Enough about my relationship with Ming as a Parent - let's move on to what really matters and what I am convinced to be Ming's passion - facilitating the process of revealing math to his students.
I must preface the following by indicating that my daughter has not received any quiz grades since meeting with Ming, however there is an undeniable confidence in her ability to discuss/explain her understanding of the areas covered in the initial tutoring session. Additionally, she was encouraged by the way that Ming communicated complicated subject matter clearly. Lastly, and probably the most indicative sign that Ming has made progress - (remember prior to grading) -is that my daughter was comfortable and is now even excited about her next tutoring session.
As you can tell, I am excited also and in some sense I compare this to when my daughter needed braces because at one time she avoided smiling because of her teeth and since meeting with Ming we have been able to be happy about her ability to learn Math

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
