I have been teaching English (all main skills & sub-skills) to adult student learners for about 8 years now and I have enjoyed every single moment of that! Well, my method is mostly a communicative one, which enables my students to communicate in English as accurately as a native speaker, observing the grammar rules and the best choice of vocabulary. That way they will not come across any problems dealing with everyday life in an English speaking community, particularly at the workplace, college and other places where they have to communicate fluently! In fact, being accurate as well as fluent is the major focus of my teaching method.
Another point which is always well-taken care of in all my teachings, is the attention given to individual needs and wants of every single learner. Given the fact that each and every learner may have their own unique way of learning which happens to be the most efficient for them, I always make sure I respect their individuality and the tasks I assign them with may vary according to the learner's personality and intentions of learning English.
I also strongly believe that the bond between the parties involved (teacher and student) plays a very important role to facilitate and speed up the whole learning process since the actual learning and teaching take place only after there is a mutual trust and understanding between the teacher and the learner.
