Elementary english/reading/phonics or NCLEX prep

My name is Krista and I am a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University. I have a degree in nursing, but have a wide array of experience with children and adolescents. My knowledge and expertise come from previous experiences teaching English in South Korea, tutoring sessions, early childhood education, development and psychology courses, coaching basketball and much more.

I am open to helping students in subjects such as reading, writing, phonics, etc. I would also love to tutor fellow nursing students in helping them pass their NCLEX or other courses. Let me know if you think I could help you or your student in achieving their goals.

Study Skills

Throughout college, I learned time management and how to study. Test taking skills were always important. I practiced taking tests (especially nursing tests) along with taking study skills workshops. I believe that I can help students take a test to the best of their abilities.

Basketball

I have played basketball since before I could walk. I played in school leagues from fifth grade through graduation of high school, including three years of varsity basketball in high school. My specialties include form shooting, ball handling and defensive training. I also have previous experience coaching players from first grade through junior high.

Volleyball

I have played volleyball since junior high. I have participated on school teams, including two years of Junior Varsity and two years of Varsity play in high school. I played libero for all four years of high school and would love to work with someone who is hoping to further their defensive skills.

NCLEX

I recently graduated with a nursing degree in May. I passed the NCLEX in early June after much preparation. I would love to help out a fellow nurse with study skills, plans and tutoring sessions.
