- 8 years of classroom experience (in the public school systems of Philadelphia and Cambridge)
- over 10 years tutoring experience
- Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania
My tutorials are designed around the needs of the client. Some students simply need clear explanations to get them going; others may have developed bad habits I can identify and help them with, or may struggle with low confidence in math or many other issues.
Once we're past the first or second session, I usually begin each session with a quick quiz to see what the student remembers and what needs more work. This helps my primary goal as a tutor, which is always to focus our study and use the time to your greatest advantage.
With my experience on your side, we can together improve your success in math. (It also helps that I love math and I love teaching it!)
