I'm a published writer, professional teacher, and an effective tutor for kids on up to corporate executives. I currently teach English as a second language to engineers and executives at Berlitz Language School. I have been an instructor of American business English in St. Petersburg, Russia. I have also worked as a technical writer and editor for various NASA contractors and have taught engineering communication at U of H. I have lectured on planetary astronomy at Lone Star College, as well. I have served as a technology journalist for The Houston Business Journal and other publications. I hold master's degrees in business administration and space science, plus an undergraduate degree in journalism with much coursework in math and science. I have completed additional graduate coursework in English, professional writing, religion and philosophy. I communicate well with non-native speakers of English; I speak German, Russian, and some Spanish.
