Dear Potential Student(s)and Parent(s),
After 25 years I returned to college in pursuit of my Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and was terrified. I never thought I would make it past my first semester and to my amazement, I finished my first year with a 4.0 GPA. What I found challenging was setting goals for myself that led me to tutoring, which I enjoy immensely.
Mathematics up to college Algebra is my favorite to tutor. Math is black and white, right or wrong, and there is no room for interpretation from anyone. the goal is to understand this subject in your own way, but know that there is one constant in every step you take. You will add, subtract, multiply or divide to get your answer.
Technology is the way to our future and I tutor COMP100 and BIS155, which is advanced Excel, with an introduction to Access and then onto Vizio. You learn how to mass produce documents by the touch of your fingers and create a Power Point presentation.
English is objective, subjective and can be enjoyable if you want it to be.
The rest is history (literally). If I haven't studied or tutored on a topic that was not mentioned, I will walk with you through the process, because that is what learning is all about.
The pleasure is knowing that you understand and have passed your studies with a sigh of relief or smile.
