Currently, I am a junior at the University of Houston - Downtown who is obtaining a BS in Professional Writing. Also, I have earned an associate's degree from Houston Community College in May of 2011 with High Honors. I am married and the mother of a wonderful son and daughter; therefore, I am no stranger to working with children. During my enrollment at HCC, I was a peer writing tutor and editor. Moreover, I am the director of The Junior Disciples Theatrical Worship Ministry at my church. Subsequently, I write, direct and produce plays that showcase the talent of my church's youth.
Tutoring methods must be developed on an individual basis. My method of tutoring is simple. I quiz my students to learn of there weakness and to become familiar with what type of leaner they are. Once that information is discovered, then I know which method will work for them.
