I'm currently a math teacher of 9 years, teaching gifted/talented 7th grade math and 6th grade math. I understand the struggles of math students these days and know how to reach math concepts at different comprehension levels. I'm currently pursing my masters of math degree to teach at a local community college. Math is my passion and I believe my students and previous students learn more because of my enthusiasm and methods of teaching. There is not just one way to learn math and I teach by learning the different ways to meet the student's need. In addition to tutoring, math resources are very helpful to improve the learning of math concepts which is what I offer when teaching. Learning the foundation of math concepts is important and from there it's just a building block. I believe I have the experience of building good student relationships and building the math concepts from the ground up.
