While I am busy preparing to move to Nicaragua for full time missionary work, I am taking the opportunity to help people who want to learn English (as their second language). Though I am not completely bilingual myself, I do speak some Spanish and understand the challenges of being in a country where language is a barrier to communication.
While I am in Nicaragua I hold ESL classes at a boarding school, while here in the States I volunteer at the Cy-Fair library teaching an ESL Conversation class. I believe in listening to my students desires and working on the areas that are needed. I can help with both verbal and writing skills needed. As a tutor I believe that visual aids, and tactile exercises increase the learning process.
Know that as I help you with your tutoring needs, you will be helping me to prepare for my Nicaragua transition and new life. I look forward to assisting you and making a positive change in your life skills.
