I am a professional working in the mental health field. I currently help patients adjust to life while suffering from some form of mental illness and/or substance abuse. I have a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts with a Psychology concentration from the University of St. Thomas. I also hold a BS degree in Neuroscience with a Chemistry Minor from Baylor University. I absolutely love learning and I love helping others learn. I currently teach part-time at a junior college to fulfill my passion of helping others through their educational journey. I love to teach in a skills based manner where I like to acknowledge the great skills that the student currently possesses while helping to build upon their weaknesses. I believe that everyone is an intelligent individual and it is my goal to help them express that through their academics. I am willing to travel in the city I currently live in and I have a flexible schedule which allows me to be more available.
