I do believe that all ages of people learn best when they are having fun. I know I enjoy it more, and the client does too. I have worked in the Computer industry for over 20 yrs, and in all of that time I was developing and delivering courses to every age range, and every knowledge level. Have also worked in the Technical writing area, so essays are an area of specialty for me in teaching, a simple formula that always wins grades!

My favorite moment is when the student gets that look in their eye, that gleam that says "I think I have it, I think I can do that, I think I understand that" - that's what excites me! I'm not happy till you/your child has learned! Once that is achieved I have done my job.

I have studied religion, theology, and philosophy for over 30 years. I am not an expert in any particular religion but I am well-versed in the big 3 mono-theistic religions, most of the general nature/wiccan/pagan types and a variety of the Buddhist/Eastern types.

Have been in computers for 20+ yrs, starting my own business in desktop publishing - a small local magazine in the Houston area that spread to other states surrounding TX, so I have the knowledge of the hands on of desktop publishing, and the know how of getting advertising for a publication, and getting the "word out". Desktop publishing done primarily with Adobe products. I was listed by Adobe at expert level initially in 1994.

DOS

I have worked in the computer industry since '79, when there was no Windows; the only way to converse directly with the computer was DOS or UNIX.

I still use those skills today. Many people in the industry do not need those skills today, but for the last 14 years I have built software from the ground up and taught others how to do the same.
That necessitates the knowledge of being able to access machines at their core levels - which includes DOS or UNIX types of languages.
