Reading has always been a life line to me. Books have been my companions and and as such I am voracious reader. My love of reading has developed into a love of writing, and my wish is to become a prolific writer.I enjoy writing flash fictions which are short stories of about 400 word.
I have been tutoring young children and have been rewarded with some excellent readers and have been pleased when my pupils develop a good sentence without much prompting. Small successes results in a kind of self assurance that comes from accomplishment. Learning is an ongoing experience and sometimes it happens by osmosis but mostly it happens through practice. It is a culmination of information that will be readily available when it is needed. I am always how we acquire knowledge without even being aware of the acquisition.
Learning is enjoyable and is a rewarding experience for all who embark on such a journey. It is not necessary to shy away from the tasks if one understands that reading is a skill that is learned, and writing is a skill that is learned.
