I am a positive, cheerful, trilingual young professional with seven (7) years experience teaching and tutoring in individual, small group, and classroom settings. I have worked with students of nearly all ages and abilities, and I tailor the structure of tutoring to student needs. Because each student is different, I usually help students and/or parents establish goals for tutoring sessions at the first session and draft a structure from those goals.
I have experience teaching/tutoring in Spanish, writing and grammar, flute performance and music theory, study and organizational skills.
SPANISH: I am a native speaker who has studied the language and its literature formally for the past 12 years
AP Exams: I scored in the highest and second-highest percentiles on both Spanish language and literature AP exams, and I can help you do the same!
WRITING AND GRAMMAR: I am a certified College Reading and Learning Association tutor. I tutored extensively while in college, and I can help you polish your writing, too!
AP Exams: I scored in the second-highest percentile on the English AP exam, and I can help you do the same!
FLUTE PERFORMANCE AND MUSIC THEORY: I have played the flute for 13 years and have enjoyed teaching it for five years. I teach all levels of flute and music theory up to high school level. For the truly brave, I offer preparation for the AP and IB music theory exams. I did well on both exams and can help you train for success!
STUDY AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: I am a certified Advancement Via Individual Determination tutor, so I can help you kick up your study and organizational skills a couple notches!
