Hello! My name is Rod P. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During my student days, I excelled not only in core engineering subjects but also in math. After graduation, I taught mathematics for a year in the university. Also, I already have the experience in tutoring math to WyzAnt's students.
In addition, I have completed the Teacher Certification Program from Houston's Region 4 Education Service Center. Designed for university graduates to obtain Texas teacher certification, this program consists of training in theory and practice of education in middle school & high school levels.
I can effectively tutor students learn math due to the following reasons:(a) my mathematical skills (b) being aware that students have different learning styles to process information, (c) use of teaching strategies that address these various learning style issues, and (d) having high expectation always for the student's success.
