I graduated in 2007 with a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. I studied in the Plan II Honors Program, a well-respected interdisciplinary four-year program. I studied Spanish from middle school through college and am thoroughly fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. (We can dabble in Italian if you so choose).I have lived in Costa Rica and Brazil for a combined one year and traveled extensively in Spain, Portugal and Italy. I scored a 1410 on the SAT (Math=720/ Verbal=610) when a score of 1600 was the highest possible score.
I have tutored high-school-aged students in Spanish and Algebra. I have also taught English abroad to all age groups.
I am very patient. I am also very thorough. I think these qualities work hand-in-hand. If students are committed, I can help them achieve exceptional levels of fluency in Spanish and Portuguese. I am also very dedicated to thoroughness in math and English and am excited to work with students to achieve their educational aspirations, no matter the subject.
