I'm a full time student at the University of Houston, double majoring in Interpreting and Political Science.I have previously worked as a teacher for the company, Mad Science. I developed a teaching style that has children feel they are listened to, with none of their questions going unanswered. I'm extremely patient and have a lot of fun being around kids of all ages. These attributes were solidified after working as a private nanny my last few years of high school. Elementary (K-6th)

I've worked for a private company called Mad Science as a teacher for pre-k through 5th grade. I was trained to teach multiple types of classes in a really fun and entertaining manner. Ranging from Kitchen Chemistry to Weather Wonders (pre-k) to Slime. All of the classes were meant to be really fun with multiple experiments and concoctions included. I find it really important to learn with your students, to get involved and show an interest in whatever subject they are studying.

Sign Language

I started signing in the fall of 2007 at the University of Houston. I have since completed ASL 1-3 and am finishing ASL 4. I was the first accepted student in to the University of Houston's Interpreting program for Interpreting ASL. My teacher has asked me to be his teachers' aide next fall to personally interpret for him since he is deaf. I have tutored other students in the subject since ASL 1.
