In tutoring students of all ages I have found that frequently the problem is they simply do not relate to the explanation, teaching style, or subject. A broad span of interests and experience gives me a solid foundation from which to draw related explanations and connections.
As a tutor at the Shreiner University Honors Writing Center I learned a huge amount about tutoring, writing, communication, and much more. Seeing someone achieve their goals, understand something they struggled with, or learn to enjoy a subject is an extremely gratifying and fun experience. Years before that I was an assistant in elementary classes.
After returning to university for my BA, I earned my Graduate Marketing Certificate and began my MBA. I have tutored in subjects from test prep to AutoCAD, writing to history, and math to marketing. Let me share my love of learning, my curiosity, and my work with you.
