I hold both a B.S. and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering; I am well versed in Math, Science, and Industrial Engineering. I am very patient and easy to work with. As a tutor I can help you to learn the subject that you require, as well as good study habits, test preparation etc. I’ll try my best to help make the course matter relevant to your life, and when possible I’ll try to make it fun by interjecting humor (I know a lot of courses, particularly math ones, can be boring, and that a lot of non-engineering/math/science majors don’t see the practical application of most math/statistics courses but I will try to make them as relevant to real life as possible). Given the opportunity I would love to help you achieve success, which of course is my primary goal as a tutor: to ensure you do well in your studies.
I graduated distinguished from my Master’s program, and am currently working full time. As such evenings and weekends work best with me in terms of tutoring availability times. As for locations I am flexible but prefer the northwest side of San Antonio.
In addition to being math and science proficient, I am a Certified SolidWorks®, Associate (CSWA) and am skilled in programming Vex Robotics® microcontrollers, as well as most Allen Bradley ® Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). I’ve also published research papers so I may be able to assist you there; however, my focus was on robotics, and automation and control. I could provide more of technical proofreading, as opposed to proofreading for grammar and punctuation.
