Hello Students and Parents!

Brief background of myself, I grew up in the Philippines until I was 17 years old; I am now 28. I graduated High School in 2002 and majored in Chemical Engineering my first year in college at a university in the Philippines. I used to HATE mathematics and science but thanks to amazing teachers I had in high school, who I still keep in touch with, I've grown to enjoy and understand these subjects. There are other subjects I've learned to enjoy, one of which is American History, since it wasn't really covered in High School.

Fast forward, I graduated from UTPA in Edinburg with a Bachelor's Degree in General Rehabilitative Services. I've worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor. My job there was to guide and counsel Middle School and High School teenagers to young adults. Unfortunately, I was laid off due to financial constraints with the company. Finding a job in the same field is somewhat difficult since I'm the type who doesn't like an office job.

Anyway, I've had experience helping out fellow classmates and friends with school. I've also tutored at TSTC in Harlingen back in 2004. I would say I'm a very patient tutor and I like to make studying fun. When it comes to preparing for tests and exams, I'm all about building confidence in the student.

The goal is to make sure the student fully understands and appreciates Math and Science, but regardless of the results, I will try my very best to help students with their studies!
