I took Pre-AP English in high school. As a Journalism/Advertising major in college, I am strong in both writing and editing skills. I have taught the various writing formats and have walked students through a books of all genres. Written communication is one of my strengths.

Psychology

I have taken Psychology in high school and several psychology courses on a college level. I understand the concepts and enjoyed my coursework.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have a Texas teaching credential Pre K - 6th all subjects. I have taught for 18 years. I believe in "meeting the students where they are" educationally. My job as a tutor would be to figure out where the holes are in his/her learning and help to "fill in the gaps." Building on their strengths and helping them to gain confidence in order to overcome their areas of weakness are key.
