I am a talented individual, knowledgeable in a broad subject range. I am an experienced teacher, trainer, mentor, capable of working effectively with above average, average, and special needs children. I have four years of experience in the classroom, working for PNGISD, teaching 9th - 12th graders, including ESL, ED, learning disabled, and college prep students.
In addition to teaching, I have an extensive industrial background to help bring subject matter to life. I have a degree in chemistry, and have worked 8.5 years for the Jefferson County Crime Lab as a forensic analyst/drug chemist ("CSI"), one year as an R&D analyst, and 6 years as a Chemist with ExxonMobil Refinery & Chemicals plant. I have children of my own and understand the importance of homework, projects, keeping up with the class, and grasping the "why" of what's being learned, not just memorizing blind steps. I would love to share my knowledge and experience with your children, as well.
