In May 2011, I completed my Associates in Science (Emphasis in Electrical Engineering) at Richland College. I will be completing my Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering at UT-Dallas in December. I have experience in tutoring students from the AVID tutor program at RISD, where I tutored students in mostly math and science. I have also tutored students in writing essays and speeches. The courses I have completed include: college algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus 1-3, linear algebra, differential equations and physics 1-2 (calculus based).
My parents were born in Saudi Arabia so Arabic was my second language. I also went to a school that taught Arabic until I was 13 years old. I completed an Arabic course in May 2011 at Richland College in which I received an A as my final grade.
I completed a course in AutoCad 2009 software at Richland College. The course focused on designing 3D models of structures and tools. I gained knowledge in building models and understanding basic modeling designs. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on setup, creating and modifying geometry, storing and retrieving predefined shapes, placing, rotating, and scaling objects, adding text and dimensions, using layers, coordinate systems, and plot/print to scale.
